It's crazy that both king Vegeta and bardock stood up to Frieza in the past but a whole decades later Vegeta and Goku both fought Frieza Vegeta fell much like his father did but came back and Goku actually beat Frieza unlike bardock the two offspring broke the cycle of like father like son

tbh I hate this aspect of Goku. There's no reason for him "not to care" about his dad. like how are you gonna care about VEGETA more than your own father 😭 especially after learning he TRIES TO STOP FRIEZA just like you??

At this point Goku kinda agrees with Frieza that Saiyans were scumbags who got what was coming. He prefers to be the Human Goku than the Saiyan Kakarot. But after becoming a Super Saiyan he embraced his true identity and became the good Saiyan.

Bardock was fhe bravest saiyan and definitely the patriot of the Saiyan race. He died with no fear whatsoever, it makes me wish he could come back
